Actuarial
Working in a results-oriented team environment, you will be involved
in many aspects of providing solutions to client companies' management
of risk and capital through the use of reinsurance. To do this,
you will be involved in a wide range of projects, from developing
quote proposals, producing sensitivity tests, analyzing underwriting
criteria, and finalizing treaty documentation, to assisting clients
in their product development work needs which includes providing
advice on product features, appropriate pricing assumptions and
rate generation. You may also be involved in providing solutions
to clients' more complex issues such as tax planning, earnings management,
capital efficiency and merger & acquisitions. Our actuarial
environment spans four business units including Individual Life,
Living Benefits, Group Life and Health and Corporate.
Underwriting
Working in a client-focused, team environment, your contribution
will span from assessing risk of Individual life, Disability, Critical
Illness and Long Term Care insurance products, assisting in product
development of all business lines, to performing client audits and
client training sessions.
Claims
Part of a dynamic and client-focused team, you will contribute to
maximizing internal and external client requirements. You will adjudicate
claims crossing several product lines including Life, Disability,
Critical Illness and Long Term Care, undertake field examinations
of complex claimant cases and train claims adjudicators in the most
efficient and effective manner.
Marketing
Working in a result-oriented environment, you will be involved in
all aspects of the marketing discipline. This means, supporting
the development and implementation of the annual marketing plan;
corporate communications, event planning, management of the corporate
web site and intranet site, business unit marketing support and
more.
Finance and
Accounting
All aspects of business performance analysis are involved for this
results-oriented team. You will contribute your skills to ensuring
that an effective process is maintained to meet senior management
and regulatory requirements.
IT
This dynamic area keeps pace with the ongoing technological advances
needed for our company to remain effective. As we continue to expand
our scope, opportunities for IT professionals are available in many
disciplines including Technical Analysts, System Analysts, System
Architects, Applications Developers, Programmers/Analysts, EDI Co-ordinators
and more.
Human Resources
Our HR professionals work closely with all levels of staff to provide
valuable information and support to meet the changing needs of this
dynamic organization. As part of this dynamic team, you will be
responsible for all facets of Human Resources including recruitment,
training and development, compensation and benefits, and employee
relations. In your role, you will continually work to find ways
to bring out the best in all employees and create a positive work
environment.
Administration
Working as part of a dedicated service team, our Administrators
play an important role in providing support to both internal and
external clients in the areas of executive support and policy administration.
