thoughts on her career:
"I'm amazed at how time has flown by when I reflect back. It's
also remarkable to note the changes that have taken place at Munich
Re over this time and how successful we have been as a company.
Many of these changes and successes have occurred as a direct result
of our teamwork, and that's what has made my time at Munich Re so
rewarding; the knowledge that what I do can make a difference. As
importantly, because we work in an industry that is so vibrant,
with new challenges to be met each day, there is so much opportunity
for an individual to learn and grow. I think these are the two aspects
that I have found to be so important over my career." |

"Munich Re has proven to be the ideal setting in which to launch
my actuarial career. In a short period of time, I've gained vast
exposure to a very dynamic industry, and have done so while working

thoughts on his career:
"Munich Re offers it's employees a workplace that is both challenging
and rewarding. During my career, I have experienced many changes as
we have grown to meet the ever-changing insurance environment. The
financial reporting side of the business has been subject to many
changes during the last few years with many more on the horizon. In
the Corporate Actuarial department, I have been fortunate enough to
be involved in all aspects of financial reporting including quarterly
reporting, experience studies, embedded value calculations and DCAT
analysis. The assortment of daily challenges keeps me coming back!
But it is not all hard work and no play - our staff events provide
an opportunity for all employees to mix and mingle on a more social
note."
